39 Week OB Visit
This morning Susan went to the OB for her 39 week visit. Only 1 week left until her due date! The doctor said that the baby is about 7.5 pounds right now, and she should be gaining about 0.5 pounds per week until delivery. Susan isn't dialated at all, so it looks like she might be delivering late. The practice generally induces delivery at 42 weeks, so we don't expect a birth day much later than July 10th. In the meantime, we are trying all the natural induction methods we can think of and hoping that they'll work their magic sooner rather than later. Susan is pretty big and uncomfortable now and the weather is starting to get pretty hot and humid, so we definitely prefer an earlier delivery.
