Day Three
Lux is just over three days old now and doing great. She got to take her first car trip since coming home from the hospital yesterday. We took her to the last meeting of our Bradley Method childbirth class and we got to show off our perfect little girl and Susan got to share her birth story with the other expectant mothers in our class. Lux has her first pediatrician appointment this afternoon so we'll see how her weight is doing. I'm sure she'll be great since Susan's milk has come in and Lux is eating very well. I'm trying to let mom get a bit of sleep this morning, so I've got Lux strapped in the Baby Bjorn while I type this.Susan has some cramping and soreness but is doing great and really thrilled that breast feeding is working out well (she was probably more worried about that than labor!). I've got a big NASA proposal due tomorrow, so I'm going in to work for a few hours today. Once that is out of the way, I'll work on getting more photos of Lux online.
