The first day of the rest of your life...
Just a short note since I'm dialed in from the hospital. Lux checked out perfectly with the pediatrician, passed her hearing test, and did great in her first night and is now a few minutes more than 24 hours old. She poops like a champ and is getting the hang of breast feeding as well. She is curled up in the hospital bed sleeping with Susan now. We didn't get much sleep with all the diaper changing, feeding, cuddling, etc... We hope to go home today but we have to see the OB, pediatrician and birth registrar first so we're not sure when that will happen.Susan will put in a more complete birth story once we are home.
