People like me! They really like me!
Over the last couple of days, Lux has had quite a few visitors. Jaymelina visiting on Friday night and brought excellent chicken dinner for Mom and Dad. Seth and Barbara came over on Saturday night and brought Barbara's amazing lasagna. Seth got to hold Lux for a nice long time while the lasagna was cooking, then we all got to eat and share a superb bottle of Brunello. On Sunday, Auntie Karen came over and we all went out to Wal-Mart for baby supplies which go pretty quickly when you soil about 10 diaper per day! Finally, Mike Wolff from Paul's work came over in the evening and got to hold Lux as well. She is doing just great, enjoying all the attention she is getting.Today, the maid is coming to help us clean up the house so we'll try going out to a coffee shop to relax while she works. Then, tonight Lux's first out-of-town family visitor arrives, Nana Jane (Susan's Mom).
Several people have now discovered LuxRay.com and left nice notes on her guestbook. It is nice for people to be able to type their own responses since the blog has always felt very one-way (although many people did send lovely e-mails and iCards). The guestbook has already helped resolve one issue. Lux has two grandmothers named Jane so we need to figure out what Lux is going to call them. Susan's Mom likes Nana Jane, while Paul's stepmom will go by Grandma Noonie. I'll keep adding stuff to her website as I get the time. If anyone has suggestions, e-mail me, or just post them on her guestbook.
