Lux's grandmother Jane (Susan's mother) arrived late Monday night for a visit. She went right to work helping out. She was a volunteer cuddler of premies at a hospital in San Diego, so she is excellent at cuddling Lux. She also mowed and weed wacked the back yard. Not bad for a grandma! We all went out for Lux's first visit to the Del Ray Dreamery, our favorite frozen custard shop. (Actually, she went many times in utero :-) Lux got her second ever bath yesterday which she didn't enjoy all that much, but she is much cleaner now. It is really amazing to watch Lux learn. She is getting much more active and makes a lot of semi-intentional movements with her arms and legs. Sometimes she spreads her arms out like beckoning "hug me". That's pretty hard to resist, let me tell you! She has been great about sleeping in lots of locations. She spends most of the night in her basinette, and sleeps during the day in her Pack n Play, bouncy chair, car seat, or in our arms.Sorry that new photos haven't appeared yet, but we'll try to get some up there soon.
