Second Pediatrician Visit
Lux is 10 days old today and we went in for her second pediatrician visit. She now weighs 9 lbs. 1 oz. so she has already regained her birth weight plus some! Susan calls Lux her little wolverine given her voracious appetite! Her head is 14 inches which is still right on the 50th percentile. Everything else looks great. We still need to keep caring for her umbilical stump which needs to dry out a little more before it falls off. She has two birthmarks, one on her nose and the other at the nape of her neck. They assured us these would quickly fade with time. Susan and I both think that her hair seems to be a little lighter than it used to be, but maybe it was just the lighting in the doctor's office. They gave her a Hepatitis B vaccine and said we don't have to go back for two months!
