Three Weeks
Lux is three weeks old today! She has had a fun and eventful three weeks and everything is going great. On Saturday night we took Auntie Karen out to the Bowie Baysox game which was followed by fireworks. Lux did great at the game and everyone who saw her commented on her cuteness. We think she might be experiencing a bit of a growth spurt since she has woken up to feed every couple of hours the last few nights which is a lot more than she had previously. Hopefully that will pass and she'll go back to 4 hours or so between nighttime feedings.On Sunday, we went to a luau-themed 40th birthday party for Greg Kubasik. I made an iron-on for one of Lux's tee-shirts that made her have a seashell bra and said "Aloha" and Susan put a flower on her pacifier, so we were all decked out in our luau gear. There were several other kids at the party and so we got to see what Lux might be like in the future. Let's just say that the peaceful sleeping through parties, dinners, and fireworks doesn't seem to last forever. :-)
