Hi Ho Hi Ho
Yesterday it was off to NRL (where Paul works) for Lux. (In spite of heightened security measures, she did not need a military ID to get on base). We began with an appointment with her financial advisor, who will help us make sure we can afford to send Lux to college. She opened her first two bank accounts, though her father will have to sign for her at least until she learns how. Then we went to Paul's office and showed our girl off to his coworkers. Everyone had very flattering things to say about her, in spite of the fact that she slept through the entire visit. She also slept through lunch and, much to her mother's relief, a quick trip to the grocery store, before demanding food and attention.Tomorrow Granddad Ray and Noonie come to visit. We hope they aren't expecting too much from Lux's wardrobe, because there seems to be a small problem with sizing. Many of Lux's outfits have very specific height and weight ranges on their labels, ranges within which Lux falls quite handly. But maybe I am confused and these ranges are in some kind of special baby metric, because everything is huge on her. Except her t-shirts, which are always riding up on her, giving Lux a special "Girls Gone Wild" look. What in the world do parents of small babies, or preemies, dress their children in?
