We're home...
Well, after an uncomfortable night in the hospital, Susan had a good breakfast and was released. She is home now resting, but is in quite a bit of pain, which she is managing with Vicodin tablets. She'll have to keep pumping and dumping her breast milk until at least 6 hours after her last Vicodin, which will hopefully be in the next day or two. She should be as good as new in a week or so.Lux is doing very well and is developing a taste for formula. I've been adding breast milk to the formula and that seems to help her take it. I expect she'll be drinking it plain soon. She and I had a nice, restful night last night and she slept through until 7:30 am. She managed to charm everyone in the hospital, as usual. It was nice to have her there, dressed in her tiger costume, to keep Mom's spirits up during the ordeal.
